The app that caddies your club and your head
Four taps a hole. Mental Caddy turns them into a Mental Par Score, a Mental Handicap and the exact number of shots your head is costing you.
Three full rounds, everything unlocked. No card.

"I believe it's impossible to overestimate the importance of the mind in golf."
It wasn't the drive on 14. It was what you did for the twenty minutes after it.
Every golfer has the round they should have shot four better. You can describe it in detail at the bar afterwards. But on Monday there's nothing to work on, because nothing about it got written down. The scorecard says 82 and says nothing about why.
So you go back to the range and hit the shot you already hit fine.
Maps and caddy
Every hole is drawn green up on real satellite imagery, with front, middle and back from your phone's live GPS the moment you walk up to your ball.
Drag the target anywhere on the hole and the caddy shows you the number, warns you the second your line brings water, a penalty area or out of bounds into play, and tells you how many strokes that line gains or costs you. It's worked out from your own spread of shots with that club, so the advice fits the way you actually hit it.
Pull the caddy up and it hands you the carry, the club to go with and the safe club, adjusted for wind, elevation, temperature, altitude, lie and ground the way a tour caddy adjusts. Your pre shot routine sits right above the button, so the last thing you read before you swing is Aim, Reset, Commit.

Own it
See it. Feel it. Trust it.
The answer first, the carry and the two clubs, then yardage, lie and wind side by side and your routine right above Log shot.
Most golfers aim at the flag and hope. Your caddy knows how your misses spread with every club, so when the pin is tucked it moves the target to where your bad shot still finds the green.
Live front, middle and back yardages, a straight answer on how accurate your GPS fix is right now, and the wind worked out for the direction you're actually hitting.
Own It captures the lie, the distance and where you hit it from as you play. Your score and your shot list are waiting at the end of each hole, so there's nothing to type up after the round.
Mental score
Four quick taps when you finish a hole, right under your score, which is already filled in from the shots you owned. Did you run your routine, did you commit, how did you feel and how was your head on that hole.
Mental Caddy turns those taps into a mental score against a mental par of 72 and builds a Mental Handicap the same way your real one is built, so the two sit side by side and you can see which one is holding you back.
For the first time the part of your game you've always felt has a number attached.

Locked in and committed. That's elite process. Stay present, keep the routine going.
Routine, commitment, how you felt and how your head was on the hole. It takes about ten seconds and the tip that comes back is about the hole you just played.

Your emotional patterns
Your pattern FRUSTRATED showing up in 28% of your rounds.
Your mental handicap tracked beside your real one, the shots your sharpest rounds are worth over your flattest, and the emotion that keeps showing up named out loud.
The part nobody else does
Every other golf app tracks your stats. Mental Caddy tracks what your head was doing while you produced them, then puts the two side by side and does the subtraction.
Round by round, it compares your sharpest headspace against your flattest and shows you the difference in actual shots gained. For most golfers that gap is worth several strokes a round, which means a serious chunk of what looks like a swing problem is a thinking problem, and no amount of range time will touch it.
Then it tells you which one to work on. Sometimes it sends you to the range. Sometimes it doesn't.
"Some leaks are in your swing. The expensive ones are in your head."
Find out what your head is costing you, in shots.
Strokes gained
Measured against golfers at your handicap, not against tour players, so a positive number means you beat your own standard.
Tap Own It before each shot and the lie, the distance and where you hit it from are captured for you. Every shot is valued as you play, then rolled up by category, distance and lie until it finds the exact situation costing you most, and hands you a drill for it.

AI powered
Golf Coach
Built from your rounds, your mental state and your club distances, grounded in proven sports psychology.
AI coach
After every round your caddy writes you a note. Not a template with your name dropped in. It reads your mental moments in the words you wrote them, your strokes gained by category, and what keeps recurring across your last several rounds, then tells you the one thing to do differently next time.
The mental side draws on the work the tour actually uses. Bob Rotella, Joseph Parent, Timothy Gallwey, Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott, David Cook. The technical side works from strokes gained the way a tour coach does. It quotes your own numbers back at you, and when the data doesn't support a conclusion it says so instead of inventing one.

Tee times and group chats
Post the tee time you've got and how many spots are open. Golfers near you see it and ask to join, and you get their handicap with the request, so you know who you're saying yes to before you say it.
The moment you accept someone the group chat is already there, because the chat is the tee time. Nothing to set up, no numbers to collect, nobody left off the thread by accident. Course, time, who's in and everything anyone needs to say about it, in one place until you tee off.
Then you play, and the app that filled the group is the same one keeping your card.

Leaderboards and badges
Then there's Golfer of the Month, a live leaderboard across the whole community. Points come from rounds played, days on the course, mental work logged, drills, lessons and tee times posted, so the golfer sitting on top isn't the one with the lowest handicap. It's the one doing the work.
Every badge has four tiers and none of them are handed out for showing up. Rounds played, consistency streaks, clubs mapped, courses explored, shots tracked, strokes gained, moments you owned when it would have been easier not to. Platinum on the Mental Game badge takes a full round at level mental par, the best answer on every hole, and it's meant to be hard.
The point isn't the badge or the ranking. It's that the thing you're chasing is the habit that lowers your handicap, so the game keeps pulling you back to what matters.

The golfer who wouldn't let it go
Co Founder
Kyle came to Mental Caddy the same way most people come to golf, as an average player who just wanted to get better. He started taking lessons with David French and it didn't take long before the conversations drifted off swing mechanics and onto the part of the game nobody was really coaching.
Kyle is a Captain on a G450 private jet with more than 10,000 hours of learning to perform when the pressure is highest, and on the ground he's the owner and CEO of First Class Leaders, a mindset and leadership coaching company for people who want to do the same. David had the golf side covered. Between the two of them they kept circling the same gap: golfers at every level are bleeding strokes to the six inches between their ears and almost nobody is teaching them how to stop it. So they built the thing they couldn't find.
Kyle uses the app every time he plays and his handicap has been dropping ever since.
"You have to earn a better swing. The six inches between your ears is the part you can start controlling today."
Their coaching, in your pocket, for every round.
Every new golfer gets three complete rounds. The hole maps, Strokes Gained, the AI coaching, the Tour caddy, all of it, with no card and no checkout. Play them, read your coaching notes, find your leak. If it's not for you, walk away and nothing happens.

After round three the free side stays free. Keep tracking rounds, scoring your mental game, logging your moments and capturing your shots for as long as you like. The hole maps and the other Pro features lock and wait for you to unlock them.
No. Your first three rounds are the full app with no payment details at all. After that you keep your account, your history and everything on the free side. The Pro features unlock when you subscribe.
Yes. Pro golfers get a map of every hole with live front, middle and back yardages, a target you can drag anywhere, and the strokes gained value of that line before you hit. Your first three rounds include it. If we don't have the shape of a hole yet, the caddy still works exactly as normal on that hole.
No. It scores your round, but the point is what it does with the round afterwards: your mental handicap, your strokes gained against your own level, and the connection between the two.
No. The mental game side works from four quick taps a hole. Shot tracking is what powers strokes gained, and it happens as you play: tap Own It before each shot and the lie, distance and position are captured for you. At the end of the hole you just check the list and fix anything that is off.
Yes. Three or four rounds is enough for the patterns to settle. Strokes gained needs a few rounds before you should trust a conclusion and the app tells you when it's ready rather than guessing early.
Yes. Full round tracking offline, everything syncs when you're back in range.
Your rounds, scores and mental moments are yours. Nothing is shared to the community unless you choose to. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Settings.
Any time, from inside the app. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
